Marki has been designing and maintaining Web sites and ezines since 1996. She works with clients across the globe from her home office in Portland, Oregon.

Soon after she received her M.S. in Technical Communications in 1992, she discovered the wonders of the internet and taught herself HTML 3.0. Now she works with Web sites that use HTML, XHTML, CSS, javascript, and PHP.

But never mind the acronyms.

Having learned Web design at a time when she was a right-brained person in left-brained territory, she remembers how it feels to be new to it all. Indeed, she continues to learn!

Still, her mission stays the same: to communicate and to connect services with the people they serve around the globe.
